BICYCLE WITH A BASKET TO THE FAMILY MITEV

Forth bicycle with a basket for collecting secondary raw materials, which on the proposal of Roma NGO Center for Active Communication awards City Municipality of Palilula to the most threatened people of Roma population, submitted to Goran Mitev in the settlement Crvena Zvezda. This activity achieving within project “Strengthening of Municipal capacity to improve the quality of life for socially vulnerable groups” from program Exchange 3. Previous month was distributed three bicycles. To the Goran Mitev, who is disabled person and user of social assistance, bicycle handed President of the Assembly of City Municipality of Palilula, Milan Djurdjevic and member of the Council Milos Stojkovic. According to Djurdjevic, this gesture has social component and provides that persons who collects waste on the territory of Palilula Municipality, do that on modern way, without pollution of environment .
Family of Goran Mitev, who we visited recently within our program we want to help on this way – highlights member of the Municipal Council Milos Stojkovic. Goran is disabled person, have three sons and one daughter and all of them lives from help with 7.400 RSD, which irregular arrives on behalf of another person`s help. Wife provide money by collecting secondary raw materials. This modest gift, says Stojkovic, much will facilitate her work and improve quality of life of the family.
Socially – vulnerable residents of Palilula can get all necessary information about using of free services of mobile teams of the project on the phone number 018/244-587 or in its Local Offices. Services includes medical assistance of vulnerable categories of population, measuring of blood pressure and blood sugar level, providing medical advisory assistance, psycho – social assistance and support of legal assistance. This project is financed by European Union, thorough Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities of Serbia, within program EXCHANGE 3 and last one year until November this year.
